4.2.11 Adapter and Protocol Services

• Select Adapter and Protocol Services.

The Configuration - Adapter and Protocol Services (MPTS and LAPS) screen appears as shown in Figure 31.

• Check and/or edit the MPTS/LAPS settings.
  • Adapter - verify the adapter.

  • Protocols - verify the protocols and check the settings.

    IBM IEEE 802.2

    Used for RIPL or APPC connections with Personal Communications.

    IBM OS/2 NETBIOS

    NETBEUI protocol that is usually used for the File and Print Services on OS/2.

    (superscript IBM TCP/IP)

    Protocol stack for the most common protocol used for intranet and internet connections.
