A.1 CACHE386

After the installation of OS/2 Warp Server Version 4 Advanced, the cache driver for the HPFS386 file system is not started automatically in the CONFIG.SYS. To run the File and Print Server, you have add a statement manually to the CONFIG.SYS.

Problem:

The driver is not automatically added to the CONFIG.SYS, therefore the File and Print Server does not start.

Solution:

Edit your CONFIG.SYS and add following statement:
RUN=X:\IBMLAN\NETPROG\CACHE386.EXE
where 'X:' is the drive where the File & Print Server is installed.
Save and close your CONFIG.SYS.
