A.2 LAN Server Management Tools (LSMT) Version 2.03

The LAN Server Management Tools are a set of very useful and powerful tools to manage a LAN Server environment. We strongly recommend that you use these tools instead of the PREPACL, BACKACC and RESTACC commands from OS/2 Warp Server when you need to update an existing server.

Problem:
You cannot restore the USER. The SETUSER.CMD asks for passwords.
Solution:
First you must change the GETUSERS.CMD. Open the GETUSERS.CMD with an editor and at column 59 of this file you must replace the "****" with "ABCD". ABCD stands for a new temporary password, since the "****" that are defined by default will not be accepted if you try to import this file later. Save this file after you applied the necessary changes.

Note that the problem described here is not specific to LSMT. LSMT also behaves like this on a standard OS/2 Warp Server.
