12.7 Updating Remote

lost or forgotten, you must use the following procedure to recover:
- Shutdown IBM Enhanced Remote Access Services Connection Server for OS/2
Warp Server by double-clicking on the title bar.
- Open an OS/2 window and and change to the \WAL directory.
- Rename the security database \WAL\WCSBUSRF.ISF to another name, such as
WCSBUSRF.BAK.
- Create a temporary directory and copy the INITRS.ZIP from
\CID\SERVER\LDCS\LO319A1 directory of your OS/2 Warp Server CD-ROM to this
temporary directory.
- Launch the PKUNZIP2.EXE program to unzip the INITRS.ZIP.
- Copy the WCSBUSRF.ISF to the \WAL directory.
- Delete the files from the temporary directory then remove the directory.
- Start The Remote Access Services. Logon using SECADMIN, password
SECADMIN.

The passphrase is case sensitive.

To be able to restore all the user IDs in the security database you must:
- Open an OS/2 Window and use the merge function of the CMPROCES to recover
the old security database.
For example if the WCSBUSRF.ISF file was renamed as explained above to
WCSBUSRF.BAK, you must issue the following command to merge the old database to
the new one:
CMPROCES /CT:ME /FI:WCBUSRF.BAK /FO:MERGE.TXT
